This course is about theories of leadership. Leaders cannot think only in terms of local and regional issues, but must also consider the impact that world events have on the organization and how the organization affects global society. The course covers different aspects of global leadership. We also reviewed multiple leadership books and compiled a book chapter for publication connecting global leadership and Vincentian values.

This course focuses on organizations, organizational change, and the essential role leaders play in identifying organizational processes, guiding development, filtering information, and addressing challenges within the organization. The course emphasizes how effective leadership supports organizational growth and adaptation during times of change. Key texts for the course include: 1) Leading Change by John Kotter, 2) Great by Choice by Jim Collins and Morten T. Hansen, and 3) Leadership for Organizations by John L. W. Wildman and Charles O’Reilly.
